Inspired by a moment of complete stillness following an orchestral recording session at London's Angel Studios, the album is rooted in space, silence and the lingering emotional resonance that remains after the final note fades. Built around sparse melodies and an intentional sense of restraint, hush reflects Lawson’s belief that music can be as powerful in what it leaves unsaid as in what it expresses. Rather than creating music that demands attention, Lawson set out to create a place listeners could return to at the end of a difficult day - a space that feels restorative, effortless and quietly hopeful.
